Creamy Spicy Buldak Noodles and Ribeye Steak

If you’re looking for the ultimate guilty pleasure that hits all the right comfort food notes, look no further than Spicy Buldak Noodles with Ribeye Steak. This dish is bold, fiery, indulgent, and unapologetically over the top. It’s the kind of meal you make when you’re craving something outrageous and don’t care about being extra. We’re talking melt in your mouth ribeye paired with those iconic spicy Korean fire noodles that burn so good. It’s chaos in a bowl in the best way possible.

Let’s be real, Buldak noodles are already wild on their own. That sauce packs serious heat that clings to your soul and makes you question your life choices after every bite. But there’s a way to tame the flame without losing the flavor. Milk. Adding a splash of milk to the pan turns that nuclear sauce into a creamy spicy lava that still kicks but goes down smoother. It’s the secret move that’ll keep your tastebuds dancing instead of crying.

And what pairs perfectly with spice and milk? Cheese, of course. Cheese takes this dish from chaotic to comforting. A handful of shredded mozzarella melts into the sauce like a warm hug, coating the noodles in creamy goodness that balances the heat like a charm. Think of it as Korean mac and cheese with a major attitude problem and we love that for us.

Now let’s talk ribeye. The richness of a well marbled ribeye steak adds a savory meaty punch that makes this more than just a snack, it’s a full on experience. Sear it until it’s got a gorgeous crust, slice it up, and lay those tender pieces over your noodles like a royal garnish. It turns your typical noodle bowl into a steakhouse meets street food fantasy.

So if you’re in the mood for something spicy, creamy, indulgent, and just a little bit unhinged in the best way, this Buldak Noodle and Ribeye combo is calling your name. It’s messy, it’s comforting, and it absolutely does not apologize for being extra.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 1 ribeye steak

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic salt

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 pepper

  • 4 4 garlic cloves

  • 2 tbsp 2 unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp 1 avocado oil

  • Creamy Buldak Noodles
  • 2 packs 2 Buldak (I like using carbonara or original flavor)

  • 3 cups 3 water (for boiling the noodles)

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 milk

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tsp 1 sesame oil

  • enoki mushrooms

  • green onions

Directions

  • Let the steak rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes. This helps it cook more evenly.
  • Season both sides generously with garlic salt and pepper. Pat it in so it sticks to the meat.
  • Heat up a pan with oil until you see a bit of smoke. Place the steak in the pan and sear for 2 to 3 minutes without moving it. Flip and sear the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Turn the heat to medium low, then add butter and garlic to the pan. As the butter melts, tilt the pan slightly and spoon the butter over the steak repeatedly (basting) for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Let the steak rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. This keeps the juices inside.
  • Creamy Buldak Noodles
  • Cook the noodles according to the package. Drain the noodles but keep 1/4 cup of the ramen water. In a pan, mix the noodles, sauce packets, milk, sesame oil, and shredded cheese.
  • Plate with the steak, top off with sliced green onions, and enjoy!
