Rocket Shrimp with Bang Bang Sauce

Are you ready to be everyone’s favorite at the next potluck? This super easy yet delicious crispy shrimp dipped in a creamy sweet chili bang bang sauce is such a crowd pleaser. Whenever I make this, the plate of rocket shrimp does not last for more than an hour because my family will devour it. I eat at least 10 at a time and slowly regret my life after because I have no more room for my actual dinner. This dish is so simple to make because the crispiness does not come from a batter, but instead the shrimp is just wrapped in egg roll wrappers so it’s easy peasy lemon squeezee prepping work.

Rocket Shrimp with Bang Bang Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lb 2 shrimp

  • 20 20 egg roll wrappers

  • 1 1 egg

  • 1 tsp 1 water

  • frying oil

  • Bang Bang Sauce
  • 2 tbsp 2 sweet chili sauce

  • 3 tbsp 3 mayo

  • 1 tsp 1 sugar

  • 1 tsp 1 pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp 1 lime juice

Directions

  • Peel and devein shrimps
  • Cut egg roll wrappers diagonally and tightly wrap each shrimp
  • Mix egg and water and use it as a glue to seal the egg roll wrapper
  • Fry wrapped shrimp in 350F degrees oil until golden and crispy
  • Mix bang bang sauce ingredients and serve with shrimp
  • Enjoy!
