Ingredients

  • 1 1 box of InnovAsian orange chicken

  • 1 cup 1 cooked white rice or box of InnovAsian fried rice

  • 1 cup 1 asian sesame salad mix (shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumber)

  • 8 sheets 8 wonton skin wrappers

  • 1 cup 1 frying oil (neutral oil like vegetable or canola)

  • 2 2 burrito tortillas

  • 1 1 avocado

  • Roasted Sesame Dressing
  • 2 tbsp 2 sesame seeds

  • 3 tbsp 3 kewpie mayo

  • 1 tbsp 1 rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp 1 soy sauce

  • 2 tsp 2 sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp 1 sugar (adjust for taste)

  • 1 tbsp 1 water (to thin out if needed)

Directions

  • Prepare the frozen chicken and rice according to package.
  • Toast the Sesame Seeds
If your sesame seeds aren’t already toasted, dry toast them in a pan over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly until golden and fragrant. Let cool slightly.
  • Grind the Seeds
Use a mortar and pestle, spice grinder, or small blender to grind the sesame seeds into a coarse paste. This helps release their flavor and gives the dressing a nutty body.
  • Mix the Dressing and Salad
In a bowl or jar, whisk together the ground sesame seeds, mayo, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to thin to your desired consistency. Dress the salad mix with however much dressing you like.
  • Fry the Wonton Strips
Cut the wonton skins into strips with a knife. Heat up frying oil to 350F degrees and quickly fry the wonton strips. Remove once golden brown and drain on a piece of napkin.
  • Assemble the Burrito
Layer on rice, mixed salad, sliced avocados, orange chicken, then crispy wonton strips. Wrap it up tight and seal the burrito by frying it on the pan with a little oil.
  • Enjoy!
