Easy Green Onion Chili Oil Noodles

These Easy Green Onion Chili Oil Noodles are the quickest and most flavorful noodles you can make on a busy day. They come together in just a few minutes with simple pantry ingredients and a silky chili oil sauce that coats every strand of noodles. The combination of fresh green onions, savory soy sauce, garlic, and chili oil gives you the perfect balance of heat and umami. It is a comforting, satisfying dish that always hits the spot.

This recipe is also incredibly versatile and works with almost any protein you have on hand. I love topping the noodles with InnovAsian chicken because it adds a crispy, saucy finish without any extra work in the kitchen. You can also keep it simple with a jammy egg, a fried egg, rotisserie chicken, tofu, or leftover protein from the fridge. The noodles act as a perfect base for whatever you want to add, which makes this dish ideal for quick lunches and weeknight dinners.

The best part about these green onion chili oil noodles is how easy they are to customize. You can make them spicier, add more garlic, or toss in vegetables like bok choy, spinach, or cucumbers for extra freshness. The sauce takes only a minute to mix together and uses common ingredients you likely already have at home. It is an easy recipe that gives you big flavor with very little effort.

I love using the Trader Joe’s squiggly noodles for this recipe because they cook fast and have the perfect chewy texture that holds onto the chili oil sauce. They are my go to for easy noodle dishes, but you can use almost any noodle you already have at home. Wheat noodles, ramen, udon, or even spaghetti all work really well here. The sauce is so flavorful that it makes any noodle taste amazing.

These noodles also reheat well, so they are great for meal prep or next day leftovers. The chili oil keeps the noodles from drying out and the green onions add brightness even after sitting in the fridge. If you want a quick meal that tastes restaurant quality without any complicated steps, this recipe is perfect for you. It is simple, fast, and always crave worthy.

Whether you enjoy them plain or topped with InnovAsian chicken, eggs, or tofu, these noodles will quickly become a repeat favorite. They are flavorful, customizable, and easy enough for anyone to make. Once you try them, they will become your go to recipe for busy days, lazy evenings, or whenever you want something delicious in under ten minutes.
