Imitation Crab Stew

Imagine on a cold winter night, you have a bowl of hot steamed white rice and a thick savory and spicy imitation crab stew and your favorite binge worthy Netflix show on – life doesn’t get any better than this right?! This dish was created out of me running out of ingredients for one of my most favorite dishes – tteokboki, a Korean rice cake dish. I had no rice cakes, but I had a lot of imitation crab left. I whipped up the most delicious pan of imitation crab drenched in sweet and spicy tteokboki sauce. It only made sense to pair this with a heaping bowl of white rice. It was truly love at first bite, and I knew I had to share this beautiful creation with the world.
