Ingredients

GARLIC CHILI CRUNCH

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 vegetable oil

  • 2 2 bay leaves

  • 1 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 chili flakes

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 sesame seeds

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 minced garlic

  • PESTO
  • 2 cups 2 basil

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 walnuts

  • 8 8 garlic cloves

  • 1/3 cup 1/3 Parmesan cheese

  • 1 1 jalapeno

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic salt

  • 3/4 cup 3/4 extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  • Garlic Chili Crunch – Heat up oil, add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and minced garlic until garlic is slightly fried. Remove the bay leaves and cinnamon stick
  • Add chili flakes and sesame seeds to the hot oil and fry for another 20 secs
  • Pesto – Toast walnuts on pan for 1 minute and throw into a food processor with basil, parmesan cheese, jalapeño, garlic, and seasonings
  • Slowly add the extra virgin olive oil and blend until all the oil is added
  • Place the garlic chili crunch in a glass jar to cool down and add the pesto into the same jar
  • Enjoy!
